It is really easy, with practice.

There is that mysterious second seam on the cover which has no explanation. I read some fellow thinks it is a camera flap. Just tried it, and yeah it works. Both in portrait and landscape modes basically the cover flap folds as normal, and the 1/2 inch flap easily folds back ( onto itself , flat) to expose the camera and flash. Very easy actually.

The flap and seam also helps make a stand on a table in landscape too.

anyhow, I'm definately not trying to convince you of anything. I don't think it is a good match for you. I like the way is shows off the metal edges and the smooth buttons are directly accessible. The phones appears slim. When I saw the majority of Parisians using them, I liked what I saw and got one for my 4

Yes, it is not for me but I am glad you are happy with it.

I have been using my clear case since I first got it about 10 days back, it still looks new.

I am a tad worried about not using the leather case. I hope the dry air does not cause it to get brittle or crack. When I had the one for the 5/5s, I basically always used it continuously. I may have lto change it more often than I had planned to.

So I am stopping at 2, I can't think of anything that either is missing that is a must have for me. :)

    I like my portfolio.

Leather sleeve, leather flip, a leather snap on (dark brown), leather snap on ( light brown/ cognac), and thin, clear TPU.

So do I go LifeProof or ziplock bag?

I recommend ziplock bag since I have a vested interest in the company that makes them. The snack size would fit just right. :D

Would that leave enough room to open the flip? :)

Btw, when did you change the spelling of your name? Was I sleeping?

Hmm good question, maybe you want to do the sandwich size. :D

Congratulations for being the first person to notice the name change (other than those who knew I was going to do it of course);)

One unexpected result. This flip case appears to clean my screen.

Normally I wipe it clean with a microcloth several times a day to remove fingerprints. But I haven't done that since using the KAVAJ flip case.

Today I made note of some finger swipe marks. Within the hour they were gone!!!

i had heard of this affect. But I never really believed it before.

    Very cool.

That's neat. The iPad Smart Covers do that as well.

I don't notice this affect on my KAVAJ iPad case. As much.

Maybe because the case design doesn't allow as much contact between the iPad screen and microfiber inside, or the ipad screen is too large in area and I don't carry the case in a way that forces contact over the whole area. The KAVAJ iPad case has a leather bezel.

Is that working with your TPU iPad case and iPad cover or only the full Apple smart case.?

Anyways a neat feature for the iPhone version.

I don't have an Apple Smartcase for my Air2. It does works well with the TPU case and smartcover.

I noticed that the Smartcase didn't clean the screen noticeably on my Air, so maybe the lip is thicker than the one the TPU case.

Wait. You now have only one less WA name than I have iPhone cases? :)

    Thanks. Interesting.

The cleaning aspect makes me enjoy the KAVAJ iPhone flip even more!

Good looking. I'll keep it in mind, as it was an option I was thinking about.

I'm enjoying the wallet very much atthemoMent and the full protection and screen cleaniNg it affords.

    Looks great too!

Just ordered another clear tpu vase:

    http://www.monoprice.com/Product?c_id=112&cp_id=11213&cs_id=1121302&p_id=12407&seq=1&format=2#top

There is absolutely nothing wrong with mine however, it is very hard to take it off and Sine I have two furry beasts at home, no way to avoid fuzz lodging between the phone and case. It is as difficult as the leather case for 5/5s was, if not more. Interestingly putting it back in is very quick and easy.

Hoping the new one will be a tad easier to take off but still fit as snug. The bottom is open like the Apple leather case for the 6 and that should make it easier to take it off

Ok so now my cases = my usernames. Time to quit on both. :D

Ha! No more than 2 Charlyee, Charlie, CDG...

Viewfly' first rule of cases. Ez on and ez off. A pure TPU should work better. It is one aspect of my clear case that was great. Very easy to remove.

    Good luck!

Thanks vf, I am not sure if it is pure TPU. I am guessing PC stands for polycarbonate?

As you can see it has no reviews but there is one on the same case for 6plus and that was all good.

Not a big loss if it doesn't work out, so that's good.

Yea, it sure isn't a politically correct case. I missed that in the description.

Waiting for your review. I noticed that my first TPU turned a bit brown in the sun, but it is hardly noticeable.

I'm still enjoying the wallet flip with my KAVAJ Dallas. Not sure why I dissed it so much when I first got it.

It might be my last case!(y)

@viewfly, hmm not sure what to make of that case. Interesting idea nonetheless.

So, I have been having problems with my little coffee maker. What does that have to do with cases, you ask? You will see soon. :D

I broke down and ordered a new coffeemaker from Amazon (as opposed to fighting with it every weekend). It came shy of free shipping by $3.99 so I order the following. ;)

    Luvvitt TPU Case

Well, now you are just one shy of my case count! I'm not getting the one in my post above, btw.

That Luvvutt TPU is a good case. I almost got it before the one I did order. Should be very similar. Not sure if it has a lip.

@viewfly, I believe it does have a lip from what I am reading in the review. This is good since the only time I have dropped my 6 so far is screen side down. What might be a problem is the camera lens, I will post how that is guarded if at all.

I finally got my monoprice case, somehow delivery turned into a comedy of errors and it took a nap for two days at the "wrong" post office. So, I went and picked it up from there today.

The case is very well made, crystal clear, and everything lines up properly. It is a polycarbonate case but does have some flex in it, which is good.

Taking it on and off is not difficult, probably the same degree of difficulty as the Apple leather case.

The phone looks as if it doesn't have a case and I like that.

The things I don't like are the obvious logo at the back of the case and the very minimal protection it offers. Just maybe prevent scratches at the back and some protection against putting the phone screen side down. I would say it wouldn't do much in a drop at all.

    [IMG] [IMG]

I am going to use for now for sure but probably not take it out of my pocket at a job site with this case on.

This looks more similar to my first TPU clear case. Very nice looking. A great case when you want to show off the phone, minimize size but can be more careful with it too.

    Enjoy it.

I'm still 'rocking' with my leather flip case. I haven't had a need to wipe the screen since I started using it again. I like that.

    @viewfly, he certainly is. :)

My buddy is sea otter, one of the mascots for International Wildlife Federation.

So Amazon finally shipped my order this morning, a week from when I placed it and it will be delivered Sunday by USPS. Interesting to say the least.

I am looking forward to the TPU case but at the same time I like the Monoprice one. I will try it on for fit etc but may not keep it on, we shall see.

Wow, this thread has had nearly 34,000 views.

I picked up a Tech 21 Evo Mesh, in black at the Apple Store. Just something more rugged. Apple seems to have an exclusive on this version.

The Tech 21 Evo Mesh sold by Apple. It has a smaller camera cut out, dot pattern and the Non Newtownian D3O comes is colors instead of just the normal orange on Tech 21 website . Fits very well. Very protective too. Good lip on front.

My summary of my iPhone 6 cases:

I like the KAVAJ Tokyo because it is slim, lightweight and with the cut outs, makes the iPhone6 seem naked. Love the two rear pockets for temporary odds and ends. The tan color doesn't change either.

I like the KAVAJ Dallas because it is identical to the Tokyo above, but with a flip cover that acts as the best screen protector, and it also cleans the screen of dust and fingerprints, like magic!! Also a great privacy screen.

I like the Apple leather case for how it forms to the iPhone. Like the open bottom and it fits my docks, which the KAVAJ do not. Don't really like the dark brown it turned into. But it is fine.

I like the Tech 21 EVO Mesh from the Apple store version because it is high tech drop resistance (D3O, shock absorbing material), flexible TPU, easy on and easy off and full coverage, with a nice lip. A nice protective case, when needed.

I like the Sena Heritage Pouch, for when I use it.

I have a $5 clear, thin TPU case that is easy on and easy off, and makes the phone appear naked.

For the beach, water sports, fishing, etc, nothing beats the LifeProof for a temporary case in that situation.

In general I don't drop iPhones anymore, but if they were naked I probably would. So I use cases to prevent that. I wish Jony Ives would knurled the iPhone edges for more grip. But even at that, placing the phone down...I feel the need to be delicate.

Just wish I didn't feel compelled to re buy all these over again with each new iPhone generation!
