Hi there. I live in Monmouth county New Jersey (Central Jersey by the beach)and work in Manhatten Monday - Friday. I currently have Verizon and am happy with their service but am ready to make a switch if needed.

All I want is a good phone that doesn't drop calls, has good reception, has a good camera, and speakerphone.

I don't travel outside the US except on a rare occasion. I do travel to Ocean City, MD and Montgomery County, MD very often.

Can anyone help me with a suggestion of which carrier I should go with and what phone I should get.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks.

A phone with a good camera isn't available in the US yet. Some are better, but that's relative to other camera phones. Sharp sells the TM-200 overseas with a 2 Megapixel camera that may work with GSM carriers and Samsung makes a 5 Megapixel camera phone available in S. Korea. In the US, you're best camera will be under 2 Megapixels.

The VX6100 from VZW has speakerphone and a camera (640x480). I'm not sure how the RF is, but probably not bad.

The VX8000 from VZW has speakerphone and a better camera (1280 x 960). It should have good RF. It won't be available till next month.
