No kidding, I first tried them in L.A. a few years back and their location in Mountain View (South Bay Region of the SF Bay Area) always had a long line spilling out onto the street from their drive thru lane.

I prefer going to McDonald's or BK where I get faster service.

Did anyone else here work in the fast food sector? I worked at BK for 3 1/2 years during high school and made it to shift manager. I recall some funny pranks that were committed while I was working there.

I had a chance to try it in Honolulu a few years back. Very tasty and cheap.

 

There are two places I wish we had in SoCal: White Castle and Sonic.

There is ONE Sonic in Anaheim, but that hardly counts as a "presence".

I've been to White Castle in NYC, but never to a Sonic. It's the commercials for Sonic that make me drool, plus relatives in AZ rave about the place, so I know its good...

Yep I've been to the Sonic in Anaheim many times. Nice place!

 

Sonic is good, but when you work the night shift they aren't open late enough.

 

Sonic is pretty good it is a nice change from the usual. We have two locations out here, one in Bullhead & the other in Fort Mohave.

 

We used to have a White Castle here in Van Nuys back in the eighties, miss those little burgers....

 

I miss Sonic from when I lived in Texas. The closest one is about 4 hours away in southern Va.
