Can somebody tell me if the car charger for the 3589i can be used for the 6230? I can not seem to find any information either way.

Thanks much for your help. :)

Hey Charlyee. I happen to have a Nokia OEM charger, in the box, right in front of me. The box says it is used for ALL Nokia phones. That has been my memory also. It's the LCH-12 model.

Charlyee, all Nokias share the same charger, at least all the one's i've used before.

Thanks Tony E and viewfly. I got the charger cable for the 3589i from Verizon and it does not have the Nokia number or the Nokia logo on it. It has the Verizon logo and the part no. is A00273242. I am hoping it is the same as the Nokia LCH-12 and hopefully I don't destroy my phone by plugging it in.

Oh well, if it does it will at least be a good reason to get a new phone. :D

As long as you stay away from the aftermarket batteries you should be ok, remember, Nokia phones don't get along with them...

The LCH-12 is the listed acc. for the 3589i. My one experience with a non OEM charger is that it was not a 'rapid' charger. That non branded charger was about as slow as the normal wall chargers...hours instead of 30minutes for a full charge. Not something you want for a car.
