I've tried everything possible and I cannot get my MDA to sync. I tried the activesync that came on the CD rom and the one that I downlaoded from the microsoft site. It says connected, and I know the computer finds the device, but I just can't get it to connect. I turend off mcafee firewall and followed all of the instructions on how to update it. Tmobile customer service isn't helping. any thoughts?
Okay, try this. Go and Un-Install the activesync. Then, place the CD that came with your MDA in your cd drive, DON'T PLUG YOUR MDA INTO THE USB CORD BEFORE YOU INSTALL THE CD. When it tells you to plug your MDA in(make sure it is turned on), then do it. If that doesn't work, try and turn the Activesync progran on on your MDA and see id that works. If that doesn't work, P.M. me. I have an MDA and i had the same problem at first. That fixed it. But i can try and help you troubleshoot.
Yeah man, I have the same problem with my MDA. Well this is my story... My friend Al found the phone in his job.The phone was working and was syncing with no problem until the usb part broke on the phone.So 2 weeks ago my mom took it to a repair shop.They fix it and it charges. So last week I got it connected and have not been able to sync it for nothing.I've used the activesync from MS on 3 different computers. When I click on My Computer it shows it as a mobile device. But when using activesync it shows it does not detect. Now with bluetooth my PC sees it and I can pair up with the PC and phone but using activesync I can not use it. I don't know if the repair shop didn't do a good job... any ideas??
