Can't save crop mp3 to razr v3 phone or pc

    My computer has the windows vista program on it. I installed motorola phone tools, version 4.56 on it. I am unable to save a crop .mp3 to my pc. When I try, the message " failed to create file" appears.
    Also, it won't let me save crop .mp3 to my phone either. The message "unsupported format...
    mp3 codec may be inappropriate or missing" comes up but I can send the entire mp3 to my phone.
    I have downloaded and installed the vista codecs pak and I have the latest version of MPT. My phone is a motorola razr v3. What can I do to fix this problem? Please Help!!!!

    has anyone figured the problem on this yet.

    I have a vista computer also and I am also getting the mp3 message.

    Please Help.
