Hi, I am new to this forum. I just got a replacement pink razr because my old one makes a constant buzzing sound. I am trying to remove the sim card and can't seem to make it budge? Is there a trick to getting it out? Please help someone...thanks.

Try using the eraser end of a pencil to push it out.

Yes Jay, thank you. I had to do this just yesterday when my son attempted to insert his old SIM into his new RAZR and got it in too far and couldn't figure out how to remove it. He thought he was sunk, but I just chuckled and remembered this post and shazam...I'm the hero! Thanks again. :thumb:

Yeah, the V3 SIM card placement is not convenient. It would have been nice if it had an ejection mechanisim like the Motorola A845 does, but I guess that would have taken up more space on a phone they were trying to make as thin as possible. Also to take into account is that in most instances once the SIM is installed it is never removed, except by the dealer when a customer buys a new phone.

Thanks for the eraser trick, worked like a charm!

At first I tried pushing hard to get it out and that didn't work. Jut softly press it out and it will slide easily.

    Thanks Again
