If everyone would boycott and not buy gas on Sunday (tomorrow) the price would drop significantly next week.
I don't see the logic, there would just be more people filling up before and after Sunday. Right? I am not buying on SUNDAY because none of my vehicles need gas. I wish lots of the neighbor would take off Sunday from running their garden tractors, so I can enjoy the quiet outside. That would save gas; until their grass grows. In all sincerity, if people would cut back on unnecessary driving that surely would make a dent.
I know with the lack of rain around here, there haven't been any lawn mowers being run, except during the week for the landscapers trying to keep there business going, even though the lawns don't need any cutting. I can't believe how dry it's been this summer. As for people cutting out unnecessary driving, that would save alot of gas, and if people just write down what they need on a list & get everything at 1 time it would help, since they might be able to go to 1 location to get there needs vs going back 2-5 times in a week (Obviously essentials don't count if you run out of them)
Gas was $2.99 at the 7-11 on Church road today. Getty is still $3.09. The other stations are $3.18 & up.
I just got back from Tucson this weekend, & I have never been SO HAPPY to be paying ONLY $2.97 / Gallon!!! :O Not that i ever thoght it would be that high in AZ!!!
The cheaper stations around here are about $2.89 and the more expensive places about $3.09 for 87 regular.
