Can Sprint Store upgrade my Best Bought (lol) Sanyo 4900;s Software to the .47 version?

    I really luv this board; so glad someone made and thnx to them or him/her for it......)

    i bought my Sanyo 4900 as per the great advice I heard from HERE and it has that old software version .45 and will a Sprint Store upgrade it if I bought it at a Best Buy store and NOT their store?

    Was just wondering cause it seems very very slow and cant connect on some sites.......

    yes they will. Does not matter where you purchased it. As long as it says sprint, and you have sprint service, a store will take care of you. I know some people have had problems upgrading the 4900. So you might want to call the store to see if they can do it first.

    Ditto!

    Also calling ahead would be wise; there are many Sprint store that dont have the equipment to do the upgrade.
    There is a new Sprint PCS store that opened in my town and all the had was phone; no software, no technician....just phones!
