    Hi,

I have a personal ATT cellular account and signed up for AT&T's Premier Service using my
company employee email. I am currently receiving a $8 discount a month.

I would like to know if signing up for AT&T's Premier Service can authorize my employer to monitor/log calls & messages & text messages since my personal account is now linked to the AT&T's Premier Service discount that is offered to my employer.

Is there anything I should worry about with AT&T's Premier Service?

    Thanks.

Hello there, I don't believe you have anything to worry about. It is your personal phone that the company provides a discount for. Many of us have such discounts including myself, and there has not been any problems reported.

    Welcome to WA. :)

Yes, I get the AT&T discount as well. There's nothing to worry about, because the phone is still in your name, not your company.

Although an employer cannot check the records of your personal phone use, each employee is expected to give his employer the full value of a day's work. You should ascertain the ground rules of the use of your personal phone during business hours. You could also be restricted from using the employer's Wi-Fi network for nonbusiness purposes.
