is there a way to call someone's voicemail,
like if you didn't want to talk to them and you just want to leave a message?
i really need to know, i need to leave someone an important message but i can't because they would pick up.

If you're on the same network they are, you should be able to send them a message from your voicemail box, provided your carrier supports this.

If you're not on the same carrier and if their voicemail system has a backdoor number (not many do anymore) you can call that number to access the voicemail system, then you can enter their phone number to leave a message in their box. If one exists, you can only get the voicemail backdoor number from their carrier, however.

It definitely works, I've used it myself. The only restriction is that you can't use it to call someone with a pre-paid cell phone.
