That is a good idea. We could even have an area under our profile to choose whether we want our birthday displayed or not. Then at the bottom of the main page a section titled "Today's Birthdays" where it will list the birthdays for the current date.
That would solve this for sure, Just need to find out if Joe had allowed this to be enabled & if not what needs to be done to set it up. Good find Matt.
It is an option. I'm hesitant to just turn it on because it is another bit of processing that will add to the loading time for the front page. I'll look into how much added load it is and maybe run a test.

I think Joe turned this on now on the main page, but it only displays if there is a birthday for that day.

OK, it is working, but I didn't have my own settings correct. When editing your profile, under your birthday there's a Privacy drop down box. You have to have one of the two bottom items selected in order for it to appear at the bottom of the main forums page. Example: "Display only Day and Month of Bith" and your username appears on your birthday: "Matt" "Display Age and Full Date of Birth" and it will look like this: "Matt (35)"
