Buying phones without plans

    Many manufactuers' websites (Nokia, SonyEricsson) and also there are some third party retailers that you can find with a simple Google search.

    Thanks. I've tried Nokia and searched but nothing useful came up. Maybe i was looking in the wrong places. It seems like alot of the places that i've been to require you to start a new plan or something. Thank you again.

    The Cingular stores will sell the phones without a plan as well, But try ebay 1st.

    Ebay may be your best bet since the VZW stores tack on at least another $100.00 to the price.

    I think Best Buy will sell the phone w/o contract as well. I got a nokia phone through letstalk last year and it was priced very well--even got a rebate! Nothing like that has been on there since.

    Why wouldn't it let me say letstalk . com ??

    Thanks for all of your replies. I'm going to the mall today so i maybe i'll find something good. I really have my eye on the A630 but it's not out for cingular yet. I really want that phone.
