Why don't we have Bounty Hunters anymore? I know we have Bail Enoforcement Agents or whatever that go around and find bail jumpers and other wanted people. But why not good old fashion bounty hunters? I want to be one. What do I need to do to become a Bounty Hunter, sorry Bail Enforcement Agent? I've already got the self defense techniques and a gun. Now I just need training and what necessary licensing. Then, I can leave work at night, and on the way home, pick up some crackhead that skipped bail and take him to the local police. A good way to make some extra money. I want to start a whole team of BH's across the country. www.beabountyhunter.com
I thought that they still had bounty hunters. There was a guy that lived near me for like 6 months and that is what his wife said he was. he was never at home and mostly spent time in floridia chasing after people in biker gangs.
that would be fun. there are bounty hunters but from what i have learned they like to be called Bail Enforcement Officers. Apparently the name Bounty Hunter has a negative meaning to the true professionals of the field. I guess the whole Bounty Hunter thing came from years ago when posters were put up in towns that said "wanted: dead or alive." they would bring in the criminal, dead or alive, and recieve the bounty for the capture. the people that are doing this today arent allowed to just shoot someone and bring them in. its a real profession now with rule and laws of thier own to abide by. the only time they shoot people is in self defense. i would never want to shoot anyone anyway unless i absolutely had to. well, maybe in the leg.
It sounds sort of like the t.v. show Cops, and sort of like most of my XBOX/PS2 videogames, even though they aren't real...
Yea that's a cool website you've got as your url! I've looked at the site a few times and correspond a few time in emails with Scott Harrell! He emailed me a couple of months ago wanting to know what I thought of 'Dog the Bounty Hunter' Pity I live in Australia, Bounty Hunting would be an exiting job! If I lived in the states I'd love to do the training & be one! Anyone seen 'US Hardest Bounty Hunters'?
They still do have Bounty Hunters. They advertise schools for trainging all the time. Arizona is supposed to have a great training facility for bounty hunters. They advertise on TV all the time. The biggest notarized bounty, I think he was Dog, or The Dog, something like that, was arrested the other day for bringing in a Most Wanted Criminal who was hiding out in Mexico. Seems that the Mexican government did not like him kidnapping someone from their country!! Police do not like them at ALL, 'cause a bounty hunter can do things that a policeman cannot. Ie.. breaking and entering. bounty hunters do not have to have a warrant to break into a house to find/capture a fugitive, police do. At least that is what I picked up on while riding with the police.
i looove to watch dog the bounty hunter. But, I believe that if it hadn't been Andrew Luster (heir to Max Factor) he went after, that he wouldnt've been in all this trouble.
In my opinion, yes and no. What is reported is that dog went into Mexico and kidnapped someone. He broke their laws. That is what Mexico said they are screaming about. But on the other hand and what I think is the truth, they are probably screaming cause Luster is no longer around to give them money so he could stay there. Others have gone into Mexico and brought back fugitives and Mexico never got upset about it. What is the REAL truth, we will probably never, ever know.
It's aired here in Germany, it's really dorky to hear the German voices mixed over the original English language. Some of it blends through and makes it hard to understand what is being said. I don't watch it often but normally I catch the tail end of an episode or two.
Yeah, I did. But since US Cellular took over my area and did away with Eloqui, I decided to give them a chance, and so far so good But as far as Dog, I believe he went about it the wrong way, but they wouldn't, in my opinion, be making such a big deal out of it if it wasn't someone that had alot of money. I think he messed himself up by taking down such a powerful (money-wise) person. I hope everything works out for the best, according to the "Dog: The Family Speaks" show they did last week, he, his son and brother could get up to 4 years in prison.
If I lived in the States I'd love to try Bounty Hunting! There was documentary show on the 'Criminal Investigation' channel on cable in Australia a while back, unfortunaly I missed it!
Did anyone see last night's episode of Southpark? Cartman was dressed up like "Dog". "Shut up or I'll hit you with bear mace!" -Jay
Yea that would be cool going after outlaw bikers! I'm mean these people think they are above the law & give a bad name to other bikers who are decent people! It would just be great to be a Bounty Hunter & look for all kinds of people!
I don't know, compared to some of the other gangs we have around this country & state, the biker gangs aren't all that bad. I guess it's all perception, I never had a problem with the people I knew/know from the Angels or Pagans.
