bluetooth

    Does anyone know if there is a way of using a motorola bluetooth device, with a sony handset, or do you HAVE to use compatible makes?

    Bluetooth is universal, I've used Motorola H700 and HS820's on a Sony W600i, HTC Wizard, Moto e815, and Moto razr v3.

    Yes, it is a universal standard. You can use any BT headset with any BT phone.

    Well thats good to know, but so far my Motorola HS801 bluetooth isn't being picked up by my sony ericsson W850i . . . . . :mad:

    I've cracked it!!!
    Thanks guys, saves me shedding out for another bluetooth, as I thought I'd be made to do! You know what this industrys like, thats why I questioned it!:D

    Let me guess, you didn't know how to throw the headset into pairing mode? That's a common problem btw, so don't feel bad about it.
