Thanks again Dan, I am sending the phone back to Cingular and they are sending me another. I have been back and forth with CS today about a text message I have been getting on this phone approx. 11 but I am sure it would have continued if I did not pull the sim,but I do not want to get off topic here I am just annoyed and frustrated.

Okay next question, is the HS850 headset compatible with the 6682? This phone will not find the device. Thanks

I am really sorry to hear that you got 2 phones both with the same problem. I have no idea why you would be getting these messages. I have no idea what the messages mean, maybe someone else might know. I agree sending the phone back and getting a credit is the best thing to do. Too bad it didn't work out for you. Fortunately both my 6682s have been fanatastic for me.

    Joe,

I am sorry that you are dealing with so much crap with your phones. I can assure you it is Cingular, and not the phone. And, I also have a 3G sim in mine and it works great. I will make you a deal, as soon as I switch, which may be as soon as the Nokia 6125 comes out (Charlyee sticks out her tongue and cringes), I will sell you mine. It is PERFECT!!! Hang in there buddy. To answer your question, the bluetooth-850, and the 6682 work great together. Again, sorry!

    Steve
