Blue Tooth Questions

    hi guys. I am a newbie to Blue Tooth.

    I have a Samsung A516. Do I need additional software on my pc to use the blue tooth?

    As long as you have a BT card or dongle installed on your computer and its associated sofware you should be fine. Some Motorola phones require special software on the computer, but I think with a Samsung you should be fine.

    Ok my pc is about 4 years old, it's a Dell.

    What is a dongle? I don't have a BT card as far as I know.

    Then you will need a Bluetooth module. I personally have a Bluetooth Dongle. It is the size of a USB thumb drive and it plugs into a USB port. I think I got mine for about $30 at Best Buy. Once that is installed you sould be able to pair the computer with the phone.
