    weird question, but..,.

if you go on the the AT&T wireless account online and specify certain phone numbers to be blocked, obviously those parties will be unable to call you. however, if you were to call them one time after that, would the incoming block be automatically eliminated?

You can only block numbers if you pay for the "smart limits" feature package, (Which I think is $5/mo). I would say no because the package is designed for parents to control who calls their kids. I would guess if parents don't want incoming calls from that number, outgoing calls are also blocked. Even if you could call that number, the block would not be removed, or otherwise kids could easily get all the blocks removed.

I used to use youmail, but I stopped using it because I did not have a texting plan at the time, and the settings kept changing to text me every time someone left me a message.

Youmail wouldn't work though, because the number would still be able to call you. You can set youmail so that they can't leave a voicemail though.

i don't have any problems with them, i have the text opt.turned off,
and email turned on,my phone will show a missed call, and i have
my phone setup default to youmail, then if i don't want that caller
to come thought i go to my free youmail acct.and block that number,or
have youmail tell them what ever i decide for that number, then when they call
again, my phone never rings,i haven't recieved a text message since i turned it
off, only email, you might want to give it a try again. no complaints here, and it's free.

I had disabled the text option, but every time they upgraded their systems (which seemed to be every couple of months) it would turn itself back on. I got tired of paying for the texts, so I just stopped using them.
