Stumbled upon this forum in search of information. I'm currently with US Cellular (only company that got reception where I used to live) but am looking into Sprint and getting a BlackBerry or possibly an HTC. I've been trying to find information on the Storm but am having no luck. Does anyone know if this will be coming to Sprint anytime soon or ever? Any help would be greatly appreciated :O
The Storm is a "lifetime" exclusive for Verizon. Sprint won't be getting it at all (unless Verizon's lifetime exclusivity doesn't actually last a lifetime...). I wouldn't bank on getting the Storm unless you switch to Verizon.
The Storm isnt such a good phone anyways. Also there are a few new blackberrys coming out really soon
Aren't there always ...is there a ball-park on the release dates of said phones? I'd hate to switch over and shortly after have new phones come out
You should wait until after the CTIA show (which is april 1-3) there will be some release dates for some new equipment after the show
Honestly the reviews of the Blackberry Storm have been mixed, from what I have heard it's really not that good. Sprint sells the HTC Pro which has been getting good reviews and remember Sprint will soon be getting the Palm Pre which looks like a really nice smart phone.
Is it true the Storm as "V-Cast" on it where the other BB's don't? Saw them accessing V-Cast music on the TV commercial.
actually the lifetime contract is up.. AT&T is already in production with there Blackberry Storm 2 for more info visit phonearena.com for upcoming phones on AT&T...so sprint should be getting it soon.
As of yet, Sprint has not announced its intention to carry the phone. Neither has T-Mobile (on the GSM side). Though it is likely both will get it, there's not guarantee they will.
i actually wouldnt expect Tmobile to get the phone..As ever one knows Tmobile had the Blackberry Bold buy 1 get 4 free. with no sales.. lol....Hopefully Sprint will get it soon...
