BitPim Problem

    just downloaded BitPim and it will not recognize my v3m. i find the motorola modem use that port but connection always fails..any help...thanks

    go to hacktherazr.com and download the motorola driver installer, run it and it will auto start the clean cycle when thats done click clean and reinstall press start and when its done (oh yeh make sure your phone isnt plugged in to USB at this time) click exit. now it should detect it properly if it doesnt then youwill need to run the installer again up to 4 times

    Thanks, did that. now when i run BitPit it finds the phone. when i try to move my phonebook from the phone i get an error message that it can't comunicate with the phone. then it cant find the phone any more. i ran USB driver Tools and the USB Devise Drivers. could not find Motorola Driver Installer.

    FYI, PST is not needed for use with BitPim. BitPim runs off the Moto USB modem drivers. Using PST will load the Moto device drivers and will end up causing issues.

    seems to be working fine. BitPim couldn't find the phone before.
