Best Wireless Serive in York, PA and The Jersey Shore

Sorry aiwapro, but do not get Voicestream. There is no service for Voicestream untill you hit Wilks-Barre. Well, I shouldn't say that. When I was at that mall in just outside of York, I got a 2 bar signal from some weird carrier CR-199 or something like that was on the screen. But nowhere else along the highway.

Verizon seemed to have a good signal there. ATT may be another good choice.

 

verizon has great coverage in nj and pennsylvania.

sprint is great in nj and a lot of the shore points but may be lacking in pennsylvania i cant say from personal experience.

the other carriers i cant comment on.

VoiceStream's coverage in York is provided by PCSOne, who they fully acquired last month.

What York campus are you talking about ? Penn St-York? Is the mall you are referring to the York Galleria on Rt. 30? I know it works along 30 - been there many times. Inside the Galleria as well.

Yes, Jack, as of 4/1/02 VS owns all of PCSOne. They've already begun using the "get more" in their radio ads. The name change to T-Mobile will be in August.

where is the York college of PA? do you have coverage there?

 

I think I am going crazy. I have been visiting too many colleges lately. yes I did get a signal in York College of PA. I was thinking of Bloomsburg, no signal there. Sorry for the false info!

 

No problem dobby - you are right.....here's a piece of the map that shows Conestoga's coverage - it ends just a few miles away....
