You might try Alltel. They have a 15 day trial period. I checked their website and service does seem to be offered for the 44406 zip code. I am not very familiar with Ohio so I do not know if they would be a good choice, but the 15 day trial is always good.

Actually, I am trying to stay away form Alltel. I know that Alltel has a roaming agreement with Verizon but the Verzion website states that they do not have coverage in Canfield. I guess I could look into Verizon's Cleveland coverage area, that would be in the same be the same area code as Canfield. What about the other carriers in the Cleveland area?

I dont know why you are tring to stay away from alltel but Alltel and Verizon have the BEST coverage in the Cleveland Area. I live in the area and have had alltel for a few years.

I don't know why you are staying away from ALLTEL either they have service in the zip code you gave and there national freedom plans cover Ohio very well. ALLTEL is a excellent wireless company IMO and you should look into them.

Canfield is part of the youngstown ohio market.

Your best choices are going to be Alltel and Cell one for the most complete coverage.

I have had Cellular One for years, like since they were Willcom Cellular. I have been very satisfied with the service. The 3 or 4 problems I had were always taken care of quickly, easily and efficiently.

Yes, Alltel does have roaming agreements with Verizon... at the same time Verizon has roaming agreements with Alltel. Certain places that are not covered by one company, but are covered by the other will be roam free on most of their nation plans...

Alltel does have a network in Canfield, OH (44406) as well as a main financial/collections office.

Cell One is a sinking ship... I wouldn't bother with them...

Thanks for everyone's insight. I was asking for a freind of mine. He has had problems with Altel in the past. He choose to go with Cell One.

Verizon has, hands down, the best coverage in ohio. If you dont get verizon, youll find yourself roaming on their network.
