i have an E815 and ive also had the V710 before this phone i like them both with the expandable memory and all the other features. my dads razr is good also even without the mini sd slot i can still connect it to my computer easily to transfer files. i was just wondering everyones opinion of whats the best Motorola phone?? i dont care about the service providers because i know allot of them mess with the real features of the phones so i just wanna see what phone most people like lol i think that the razr would be one of the best because it doesn't have alot of problems like that stupid 2 pronged charger on other phones *****post what u think could be Motorola's best phone*****
Right now I'm in love with my Razr V3xx. All the functionality of the Razr with Edge, and 3G. What more could a girl ask for? ~*Ash*~
I was considering a V3XX but some it's shortcomings is what bothers me. It is not quad band, lack of a full organizer (no to do list, or notes, just a calender),it also does not come with a headset, usb,or data software,(after all it is a music phone).
Well I don't really need all that stuff. I am a simple day planner girl, and I don't use my phone for music purposes. Thats what I have my iPod for. Plus I still have my cable from my V3, so that's not an issue either. Also I rarely TALK on my phone, just text, and use media net... So all the complaints you have, don't apply to me personally. ~*Ash*~
They are not complaints just facts, I have been on the fence between a bar phone or flip and miss some aspects of a flip phone. Except that Cingular does not have anything in a flip that peaks my interest. My SE was not cheap by any means but aside of it not having 3G, the EDGE speeds are impressive and I have a fully loaded phone for the money.
I like my Motorola A845. It works where many other phones do not. Of all my phones it has the clearest and best reception. -Jay
Verizon = Motorola E815 Cingular = Motorola V3xx TMobile = RIZR Z3 (will know for sure on March 12th)
My opinion is that the V3xx may be a great phone, but I don't think its been out and road tested enough to call it the best yet. I think I'd wait another few months to make that call. It looks promising though. -Jay
How can you answer this question? Motorola makes phones for all cellular technologies (iDEN, CDMA, GSM, PCS) Judging by the fact you mention the E815 you are asking about CDMA phones. I love my E815, although the service provider (Verizon) absolutely sucks. If you want a real phone, goto Nextel and get an i355, or an i560, or even an i580. Those are some kick ___ phones!
Agree that e815 is great...actually think my v710 is better. Yes some of the non-VZW phones are more sophisticated, I haven't found a better overall carrier than VZW. If you are on one local and have good service, it may not matter. If you travel or spend time frequently in multiple locations, it can be a hard choice...not an endorsement for VZW, just my experience.
In my own experience I can honestly say that both Verizon and Cingular are the same as far as coverage goes, but I want to remind you that this all depends on the area that you are in as well.
my e815 for alltel is way better then the one that verizon has because they block so much stuff out with the memory card and such. i hate verizon i had regular land line service through them and they are outrageous now i just have charter high speed with vonage so we completely eliminated verizon. verizon blocks some of the main motorola features just so they can get people to buy songs through vcast or whatever . they charge u for everything they can. sorry im getting into carriers. :O i was just wondering what the best Motorola design was. i like my e815 but i thing most everything is gonna go towards the razr and smaller phones so i don't think big phones will stay around forever. :loony: :loony:
