    I never want to see Boston win a World Series. I hope their losing streak dating back to 1918?? continues. :D Anyone remember Bill Buckner's error in the 86 series vs. the Mets?? ;)

    Twenty years have passed and still the same result. :mad:

    I think the LaDuca trade turned out to be the difference in the post season. Having Mota would of helped quite a bit this series.

    Well, the Padres have never won it and I was 3 the last time the Phillies won. Chargers won the AFL championship once in the 60's, lol. The Flyers have won nothing in my lifetime. Thank goodness for the Spurs or I wouldn't know what it is like to have a favorite team win a championship. Of course, basketball is what I care least about, so it figures that would be the team that wins.

    I don't think the trade would have made any difference. St. Louis was just too strong no matter what. Bad first round draw.

    I agree Larry. I don't think it mattered much either. The Cardinals should win it all this year with the offense they have. It can overcome even bad pitching it is that good.

    Lima pitched an amazing game against them on Saturday. I doubt they get shutout anymore this post season.
