I have a Kyocera 2255. I have set the backlight to 30 seconds and in the acc. have set it to always on. However when I plug it into either DC or AC the backlight does NOT stay on as it's supposed to! Any suggestions?

bring it in for a tech to look at. Explain the problem. They will probably have to replace your phone if you are under warranty

I believe this is somehow by design, as mine does the exact same thing..... One other thing I noticed, the phone charges while talking if its plugged into the car charger, but not when on AC power. I suppose, concerning the backlight, they figure that if you're inside your house, there's no reason for the backlight to be on all the time, whereas in the car it would be a useful feature (can't keep a light on all the time, but you can in the house). However, the not charging while talking when on AC power is a horrible idea. [IMG]
