Has anyone ever been able to send themselves a picture message from axcessmypics.com with a ringtone that they made themselves to their phone and save it as a useable ringtone?

I have an LG Scoop and I am trying to figure out a way to put my own custom ringtones on it. Other than using bitpim. Or some site that will send me a link. I do not have internet on my phone.

Yes, I have done it. The ringtone will have to be smaller than 300 kb to send through their site. Just create the ringtone, save it into an album on axcessmypics, create a pic/tone text from their site, send it to yourself....open the text, save it to phone. I've done it with an lg ax355 and it works fine for me. Have no idea about the scoop--good luck.

Yes, the site is free. You just need to create an account. Before signing up, you can click on a link to make sure your phone is compatible. You will also need software to adjust the length of an audio file (many free ones available on the web) and don't forget to keep your audio file size 300 KB or less or you won't be able to send it through the site.

Doesn't work on the scoop. I can send it and save it to the phone but I can't set it as a ringtone.
