If wireless providers were prostitutes, Cingular would be the old hag with the torn stockings that just won't retire. Your T720s work so well because you got them late and now all the problems are worked out. You were right about the guts being different. Yours have less in them, therefore are less complicated. Cingular just came up with the bright idea of the roll-over minutes, they needed more customers, and I admit it's a good idea, but it still doesn't hide the fact that Cingular is worthless. You can try to cover it up with all those fancy Nokias and "Roll Over" minutes, but under the makeup the face is still dry and wrinkled. Soon other providers will have their own rollover minutes, but as of now only Cingular does, so don't make it seem like everyone but Verizon uses the idea when you say "why do you wan to be with a company that takes back the minutes that you rightfully paid for?" If Verizon was struggling in the cellular market, I'm sure they'd come up with some great ideas like that, too. You want to give your opinion, then give it, but don't include Verizon (or any other provider) bashing. Verizon is Mike Tyson, and Cingular is Lennox Lewis. You may look pretty in the ring, but take it to the streets and we know who's coming out alive. (I only do provider bashing in retaliation to Verizon bashing, btw.)
I'll try to remember that Cingular is the best next time I'm sitting in a bar in Manhattan and the guy with Cingular is shouting into his phone trying to get a signal and I've got five bars on my Verizon phone. If you can't get a signal in Manhattan, you should be tarred and feathered.
Let it search the com ports, it wil find it either on com 7 or com 8, I used it and had no problems, of course I used TrueSync Version 3.1, which btw there is a newer version out now 3.1.14... Look for a file called USBMOT2000.INF in the windows\inf directory this is the one that I think installs the driver. If you are using XP do a snapshot of your configurations before you screw around. To access the System Restore Wizard, click Start, point to All Programs, point to Accessories, point to System Tools, and then click System Restore. Then Create a Restore Point.
I don't have any problems with my T720 through Verizon. Well maybe its cause I got the service area the caovers the 48 states. But I don't understand why we have to pay 4 everything. : ( I don't have any problems with my T720 through Verizon. Well maybe its cause I got the service area the caovers the 48 states. My Lawd......And I almost got banned from WirelessAdvisor, yall are killing me. I personally enjoy my T760 tremendously, is it the best phone out there.....who knows. We all live in different areas and your signal is probally better than mine (since I live next to an airport!!!) "BABY CLOSE THE WINDOW I CANT HEAR MYSELF TYPE!!!" I know the color is not the best on the T720 and its battery life is not great, however it fits my steelo and it is very functional. Oh yeah i have AT&T, and it sure isn't the BEST provider out there but its the one for me. (If they can stop f'n up my bill!!!) ONE!!
