Hello, I am researching for our store. We have an Alltel store in WY. We are an Authorized Agent and found out from my other posting that we would not be able to add Verizon as another option in our store. I was told that if we were an Independant Retailer that we would be able to do multi-carrier. My question is, does anybody know if anyone has switched from Authorized Agent to Independent Retailer? And, If that is possible what is the commission diference? We want to be a one stop shop for our only two carriers in our area.

    Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

in many areas, VZW requires exclusive contracts, the difference in commission is enough for me to warrant going exclusive, with cost of equipment being such a huge part of the business, any extra money you can get per sale helps... Also twice the carriers doesn't mean twice the sales...
