i was just told by a T-Mobile tech rep that rebroadcasting the LRN can help solve this problem many times....what with AT&T being as suspicious and control freaks that they are (thank God they aren't Verizon)......by rebroadcasting your LRN it kinda refreshes your phone in the entire director of numbers and carriers.......i wont get technical but just call AT&T and ask for tech support you might have to keep telling people you want to rebroadcast your LRN until someone understands......if they ask why just tell them it's because you can receive texts but when you send them it tells you their sent but no one ever gets them......does the phone say they're sent? i suppose we don't really know that

LRN is voice related... has nothing to do with sms at all... the OP issue is in his SMS profile ... a frequent issue when there is a carrier change... there is one company that delivers inter carrier sms / mms that all carriers use... if that profile is out of whack... this is the result... a simple fix call ATT cust care... its fixed by tech in seconds... the clue here is that sms only to other ATT subscribers

I would call att. they should be able to fix it. When i had att i always seemed to have missing text or texts that would show up the next day and plenty that would never show up at all. Never had that problem with verizon or tmobile so from my experience att has some frequent texting issues.

I believe it is VeriSign, although I am pretty certain I've seen reference to one other company being an intercarrier SMS gateway as well ("who" it was escapes me).

I remember VeriSign as I was surprised they function in this capacity. :)
