ATT Nokia 6555 on Verizon?

    Hi,

    I have an ATT Nokia 6555, which I like very much. If I can get it unlocked, can it be used on Verizon?

    T-Mobile US, Fido CA, T-Mobile NL, Orange IL
    No can do. Verizon and AT&T use different technologies. Verizon uses CDMA and AT&T uses GSM.

    To add to what Telekom said, your only option to use your unlocked 6555 on is T-Mobile (or any other regional/local GSM carrier). One effect of using the 6555 on T-Mobile or others is no 3G service (just 2G).
