Im loving my AT&T experience so far. Excellent customer service, excellent coverage, and any mobile has really come in handy. Wished I had switched sooner.
The best part of AT&T is that its customer service is one of the best in the world. When compared to the other service providers, AT& T is affordable and trustworthy. Whether it is the phone or cable service, AT&T has the knack of giving its customers what they want. That is a great as well as the best thing about this telecom service.
I have to say their prepaid customer service has improved a lot since the last time I used them... Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2
When I called about my first bill, the lady was VERY helpful. She even explained every perk detail that I get with my FAN discount. This one call was better than the 200+ calls I have had with Sprint over the past 2 and 1/2 years.
I have had at least one line with Ameritech/Cingular/AT&T, all my Cellular Life. They have great coverage everywhere I have been and over all reasonable to deal with. They do drive me crazy whenever I switch my international roaming on/off and their is invariably errors on my bill. Although in all fairness, they typically promptly take care of it when brought to their attention. Sent from my Lumia 900 using Board Express
So far I have been very pleased with AT&T. CS has been very nice and was nice enough to waive the activation fee. Coverage has been excellent so far, just hope the areas with EDGE get updated soon. Their is still a lot of it around in the Pacific NW.
Hiya Charlyee! Have you ever just popped in a foreign pay as you go SIM card when you are overseas? My wife and I go to France a couple of times a year, normally 2 weeks in the Spring and 1 week in the Fall. I always stop by an Orange carrier store and get a couple of pay as you go SIM cards. The carrier has built in video calling, no 3rd party application required, and unlimited data for a month is 11 euros ($13.68 usd)
Hey, how about that! Nice to see you posting on WA, now that you have made one post please do stick around we can certainly use posters like you and specially one who uses WP. Plesae visit http://forums.wirelessadvisor.com/microsoft-windows-mobile-phones/, and contribute, it's lacks participation as you can see. Thanks for your suggestion, I have thought about doing it but never followed through. One of the reasons being I need to keep my US number for easy access from home, so the way I see it I could switch SIMs back and forth or could use a backup phone with a local SIM. Somehow that sound like too much work and planning not too mention I will be accused of "playing" with my phone/s all the time even on vacation. One of these trips I will go ahead and take up on your suggestion. Thanks much, hoping to see more posts from you.
I discovered that I registered here back in 2009 and never made a post. One of the other things I did with my AT&T account is I set my voicemail up for email notification (I think it's like $3 a month) so when we are overseas and using a foreign SIM card, we immediately know when we get a voicemail on our U.S AT&T number, via email. As I mentioned, the video calling through the carrier is really cool. When you go to make a regular call, you can select video call or voice only call. With video calls, the person on the other end gets a message that it's a video call and can accept or reject it. It's neat if my wife is at the store, she can use the FFC and show me what she's looking at. I'll pop over to the windows forum here.
Those are good sugg I may look into that when I travel. Here's a recent update. My AT&T service has been basically flawless. Right now I have absolutely no complaints with coverage or customer service so im still very happy with the switch. Even had coverage in a rural area I didn't expect to have anything in.
Speaking of being great to deal with....I must add something that I have neglected I called CS back in August and wondered why my rollover minutes were not displaying (after first month of service with them). CS advised it may take a few days after the bill cycle changes. However, out of the blue, she just gave me 2,000 bonus rollover minutes. I told her I appreciated that! My minutes then all displayed the next day. That was nicer than nice!
