AT&T Wireless ATT eSiMM question once again & Hello

    Hello all,
    Long time, no forum activity.

    New grandparent here, first time. pure joy.

    Health has not been well the last 5 months, but keeping busy.

    I sincerely hope all my friends are well and happy with mobile gadgets!!! One cannot beat having fun with them. Never gets boring.

    I do have any inquiry, again. Perhaps bored, but I’d like to move to the iPhone XS esiMM to free up the hardware slot.

    Instructions below. I guess that I need to talk to ATT about the QR code?

    Any practical down sides for doing this? I. Really doubt I’ll use the open slot much...but it’s there, so tempting.

    Some you may have better knowledge on this than me.

    Hi @viewfly, congratulations on becoming a grandparent! Sorry to hear your health is not cooperating fully, hopefully this process is reversible. You know you'll need all of it when you're a grandparent to a toddler ;)

    Check out https://forums.att.com/t5/Apple/Switching-from-SIM-to-eSIM/td-p/5750146 it sounds like it's easy to switch but the person reported some glitch related to messages. Best to check everything while you're still in the store. Even better if your AT&T and Apple stores are within an earshot of each other.

    Okay, I’ll head to the Mall where there is an Apple store and ATT floor apart. And check out the forums link.

    I still hang out on AT&T Forums, so a little bit in the loop. Family's still on iPhone 8, so eSim hasn't come into question for me personally (yet), but I've kept an eye out ;)
