AT&T GSM Service in Chicago WHY DOESN'T AT&T HAVE more text messaging options? The GSM service is a mediocre ok, but not as good as T-Mobile. I might consider getting the TDMA service. Either that, or going back to T-Mobile... The Nokia 6310i is wonderful, but I don't know...
Always free incoming messages is a plus. send 100 messages for 4.99, and aparently there's an unlimited text msg plan for 14.95. I can't speak for the GSM service, being a TDMA customer.
what options do you need? I am with t mobile, and my girlfriend has sprint. She has to get on the internet to get to her shortmail (sms). That is extremely inconvinient if you ask me because she has to pay the browser fees. And she cant send text messaging intl. Not that she would ever need to, but I do because I used to live in germany.
Is there really unlimited for $14.95? I have never heard of it... How did you find that out? I just called them, and they told me that they only have the 100 outgoing for $4.99.
