AT&T 3G view changes AT&T has announced that instead of launching a 3G network in the 16 original cities that they had chosen, it will only be 4. It will take them until the end of 2004 for this to happen. They are gonna fall so so far behind. 4 cities, 2 years, LOL.
When Sprint or Verizon roll out 1xEV-DO and ATT doesn't have wCDMA, then they will have missed something, but right now ATT is not at any disadvantage. At least ATT has announced a plan. Sprint, Verizon, and T-Mobile haven't made any definitive plans on this.
