I'm curious how many members have a BT earpiece or headset, and if you actually use it? How do use it? Please respond to the poll and list separately which device you have and any other information you seem useful. I have a Jawbone ERA BT earpiece (JawboneERA) 1)I use it for driving and answering calls at home. Very convenient. 2)Sometimes for listening to the news while I'm doing some household chore where I'm moving around a lot. 3)Use a wired Apple earset for exercising however. Doesn't fall out that way and the music quality is better. Lasts about 4-5 hours. I find now that leaving wifi and BT on with my iPhone doesn't impact battery life much. I use to think it did.
Have built-in BT hands-free in the car, so use it all the time there. Also have a Plantronics headset that I typically use when on the train. I don't use wired headsets with the phone at all.
I have a cheep Plantronics M28 BT headset. The only time I use it is when I am in my apartment. It's great for when I am busy cleaning my place or when I am charging my phone.
I use a Motorola SF600 stereo Bluetooth headset. It isn't bad. I mainly use it as a last resort when I'm tired of cords. It is an in ear model and I am in the process of looking for some over the ear ones. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B006B9GRM4/ref=redir_mdp_mobile/180-9525476-1989555 Sent from the Blanco Beast, SCH i605
I use it with the BT handsfree in my car when driving. I do not have any other BT or wired head sets. Good poll
My Bluetooth devices. I really love the Monster speakers... The Monster one is used for streaming audio from my phone; the Motorola SF600 is used as a last resort at work when I leave my wired earphones at home. Sent from the Blanco Beast, SCH i605
My next car with have a BT system. I'm amazed how well it sync up with it came with rental cars. Sounds good too. Working around the house it a great use of the BT system. Even if the phone is just in your pocket. Too many times I'm yanked my phone out from the cord. I've been looking at the JamBox as an portable speaker.
I use my Kenwood aftermarket unit in my car. It has built-in BT hands-free, Garmin Navigation, SiriusXM radio, direct iPod connection (with the connected cable), AM/FM radio, and a CD player. Here is a picture of the BT screen:
Thanks. I have had this unit for a few years. I update the Garmin maps about once a year. I just added two new pictures. I had to delete my old phones and add my Lumia 822 to the BT list (since you can only have five phones saved to the BT pair memory list). The bottom buttons even change colors every few seconds (as you can see from both the home screen and the BT screen). More of a gimmick IMO. I wish the picture was better but there is absolutely no clouds outside right now and it is on the way to 90-91 degrees like it will be for the next few days.
Yep, very nice. I don't know why, but the aftermarket units are so much better than the built-in ones. I miss my Pioneer AVIC
I have a BT headphone set I sometimes use when running. My car has built in bluetooth, so I never use a headset while driving.
A built in BT is the way to go. My newest car is year 2006. I guess that I should have lumped in car systems with headsets. Was curious if BT is used over just plain phone. Sent from my iPhone 5 using Tapatalk
Giving these a try. I am amazed at the dearth of over the ear Bluetooth. Feel free to suggest an over the ear Bluetooth alternative to these Sent from the Blanco Beast, SCH i605
The speakerphone on my phone is so good, I rarely mess with my BT headsets anymore. If I use any BT device while driving, its my Tom Tom GPS with Bluetooth speakerphone built in.
What do you use while on the motorcycle? I've seen people on bikes with some kind of helmut to helmut intercom, I assume it includes a BT device. Can't image the speakerphone works well on a bike!
When i'm on the bike, leave a voicemail message, and I'll get back to you. Safely operating a motorcycle requires 100% of my attention. I don't even use an MP3 player when riding.
