Apple promises iMessage fix

    I read that too this morning. I haven't had any iMessage problems as described. Doesn't seem to be affecting a majority of people. Apple states a fraction of 1% of users affected.
    But **** happens ;) and a 0.5% can be 1 million people or so.

    My wife doesn't have any iMessage problems either, but whether that's because she doesn't use it or because she's in the lucky 99% I don't know :D

    I never had a problem with iMessage but occasionally my texts do get stuck and I get a sending failure alert. It's too sporadic to complain about but never having the problem would be better of course. :)

    Are those iMessage texts or SMS texts?

    They are standard SMS (green). The iMessage(blue) has been fine.

    It is too infrequent, I am thinking Sunday was the last time.

    I found it easier to delete the message that hangs up and send a new one, the retry usually doesn't work.

    When we were in Russia, my wife has used standard SMS and didn't complain of anything. Here she doesn't use the message app at all, although technically she could to iMessage other iPhones.
