Technically it is not offered to the public you have to "know" about it to get it. But I am sure you have read the customer service horror stories I hope this does not happen to you and that you are not on hold for more than 30 minutes.

Heh. Too late for the hold time, I was on with the 2nd rep for 45 minutes last night after 40 or so with the first one. And the distinction about public and "in the know" is true, that's how I found out about it in the first place. Sprint sent the offer to one of my brother's co-workers. They both signed up with no problems.

After web search & forum reading, I decided to figure out how to get SERO. Existing customer with a 450 min plan. Called CS and asked about ETF and prorated ETF because wanted SERO. CS offered me 240 min w/night weekends 7pm for $10.00. So Sprint was able to keep my business until 9/08, this line will be fine for teenager (block web & text). Meanwhile I get a SERO and a new smartphone, love email/web capability. Thanks to all posters for info. Don't forget to enter any applicable codes when ordering as it may be dificult to get applied afterwards. May also be able to get discount for credit union membership 10 percent. Wish I knew about SERO plan earlier, will take full advantage now. Happy Holidays!

PM Larry and politely ask him for a Sprint employee e-mail address so you can log into the SERO site and begin buying a new phone and plan. :)
