Apparently, this is M Night Shyamalan's(aka Bobolito) new movie. Saw something about it on TV earlier. Supposed to be a summer movie, but I haven't heard squat about it. Just curious. I liked Unbreakable and Signs.
Here is a short description from Hollywood.com: "In The Village, set in 1897, a close-knit community lives in fear, knowing a mythical race of creatures resides in the woods around them." I watched the trailer...it looks really good, especially considering the director.
IMDB: "Set in rural Pennsylvania in 1897, this is the story of the small village of Covington, with only a population of 60, surrounded by woods inhabited by a race of "mythical creatures," and the romance that blossoms between Kitty, the daughter of the town's leader, and Lucius, a young man. However the village becomes threatened when Lucius questions the policy of keeping Covington's citizens completely confined to the village."
