Anybody else here love Costco? I pretty much always have a better than expected experience with them. My experience this week is probably the best so far. I've purchased my last six tires from Costco. You order online and then go there a few days later to have them installed. The prices are good and there is absolutely zero waiting time at the Costco I go to. Among other features, they have a road hazard warranty on the tires. That means they fix or replace a tire that gets a puncture (within some time or wear limits). This week I got a screw in one tire and took it back to Costco. Due to the screw's location, it couldn't be safely repaired. So they would replace the tire at a pro-rated price. But.... BF Goodrich doesn't make my particular tire model any more, I'd have to get a different tire. But.... two different model tires on the same axle is a bad idea - two tires would have to be replaced together. They said since it was not my fault the model tire was no longer available, I would get the 2nd tire at no cost. The bottom line is I got around $230+ of tires, installation, taxes and disposal fees for $56. No hassles, no arguements. On top of that, I ate lunch in the Costco food area and by time I was finished, so was the car. I just wanted to give them a good word for a good experience. :twocents:
I do all of my photo printing at Costco. My wife does almost all of her shopping there. And we often get the gas there as well, about 15-20 cents per gallon cheaper than at the nearby gas station. All in all, we're happy with them.
That is great to here Joe. It's always nice when a store and it's employees do the right thin. My mom and I checked out Costco about a month ago. It was nice, they seem to have high quality stuff then Sam's Club.
Never been there... Tallahassee got its 1st Costco ~2 years ago. I haven't been there because the location is not convenient for me Most folks who been there seems to like the place, though.
Thanks for the information Joe. Our nearest Costco is 40 miles away on the north side of Milwaukee. It is nice to know that it is worth a trek up there. I love Costco too. Their meats, breads, pastries, and just about everything else is fantastic. Their overall product quality is amazingly good. It's no wonder their stores are always packed. Oh and their low prices for the amount of food/services you get kicks butt too!
My wife and I hosted a housewarming party over the weekend. We went to costco for rotisseried chicken, paella, mac and cheese, salsa, and guacamole. Everybody raved how good the food was and one of my friends asked my wife the recipe for the paella. The quality has definitely gone up and many of their prepared foods are simply delicious.
