i hate that the phone makes noise when you turn it on or off. is there any way besides having the phone on vibrate or silent to turn off the on/off sounds?

You will have to download a program called BitPim, and also download usb drivers and use a usb cable to get your phone connected to the computer. Here is a link to HOW to disable/change your startup and shutdown tones. http://www.motov3m.com/tiki-index.php?page=CustomSound&PHPSESSID=2fd3d8e7f11c217f11f1a86ad78f48bb

Cincyball is correct. There is a 'pile' of info at this site. All of it very, very useful if you are going to work or 'fix' your phone.

I would go to the main page, though, so you could save it for future reference.

The item you requested is item #8 from the main page.

Sorry, Cincyball, I did not mean to overstep you here. I just thought it would better to give out the main page, so it can be referenced again.

Thats fine, no worries ;) Yea, even when u are at a specific page, u can still see a list of the others on the left hand column. I find that site the most helpful top to bottom. But I always recommend people refer to 5 or 6 different pages. Allllll the info u could ever need is out there, just gotta know where to look :D That being said:

    www.wirelessadvisor.com
    www.howardforums.com
    www.motov3m.com
    www.mark.cdmaforums.com
    www.hacktherazr.com
    www.motomodders.net

If you cant find what you are looking fopr after all these sites, you probably wont find it

There is also a program called MotoKit that works very well with GSM models of the V3 that has a nice, easy to use interface that is as simple as unchecking a box to turn it off.

How could you have no use for MotoX? There are still plenty of wallpapers, ringtones and apps that you can use found on that site.

Haha, I have successfully done EVERYTHING i can with my phone, and never even took a peek at that page for help, files, etc. So I guess I very easily had no use for that site ;) Im sure it has plenty to offer, but for the CDMA v3m, we could easily live without it :p
