I currently have the 1000 minute plan w/2 lines & N&W starting @ 7. We really don't need that many minutes, but like the choice of N&W @ 7 or the text messages. Any cheaper plans that's not shown on their website that offer something similar?
The only plans Alltel has which aren't advertised are the Total Freedom plans which cover all US off-network roaming but they are more expensive, not less expensive than the My Circle Family Choice plan that you currently have.
If you don't use the texting on both lines and need fewer minutes, you could go with the National Freedom 900, which is 2 lines for $69. Then there's the National Freedom 500, which is 2 lines for $59.
There are no hidden family plans. You can create your own by taking a regular plan and adding on a line. For example the $59.99 national plan with 900 minutes and a second line for $9.99 comes out to $69.98 before taxes which is little cheaper than what you have but you lose the 7pm nights. If you added them back in you would actually pay more. You still get My circle. You didn't say if you have the old $75 plan or the newer $79.99 one. If it is the old $75 one, it is a bargain unlikely to ever be repeated.
I love the 75 dollar plan and plan on stayting parked on it for a long time....Keep in mind you can add 7:00 nights to any plan for 7 dollars per line.
That's the plan I have. The plan I have has the 7:00 nights. I'm kinda wanting the text messages as well, but i'm too cheap to pay any more...hehehe.
Drop down to the 39.99 plan, add a line for 19.99 and add texting fro 5.99. Not really worth it to me, but it'll save you a few bucks.
You lose a whole boatload doing that--including MyCircle, 7:00pm nights, and 500 anytime minutes. Not worth it to me either.
There is a new plan premiering on 13 July, the My Circle Family Choice Premier. It gives you 2200 anytime minutes. The primary line runs 139.99, second line free, lines 3-5 $15 each. Each line gets Unlimited Text AND for 7pm start time, both at no extra charge beyond the charge for the plan.
