I am off-contract with AT&T but will probably stay with them for my employer discount. I currently have a Nokia 6126 and that's about all the phone that I really need - I don't need or care to listen to music with it, rarely take pictures, almost never connect to the internet or download anything from an AT&T store. I would like my new phone to not have the camera button on the side, which can be ever-so-easily accidentally pressed and the battery is drained. The volume for the ringtones could be louder, especially for some of my custom musical creations. I stopped at a local AT&T store and they showed me the 6350, which really isn't all that new. They said that there were new models coming but couldn't say when. I want to stay with Nokia because I have all the needed accessories suh as car charger, extra home charger, USB cable etc. and I am comfortable with Nokia's Ovi Suite for syncing etc.

So, when will the new "basic" Nokias hit AT&T shelves?

Although nothing is ever official until it is announced by at&t/actually happens (and at&t doesn't tend to announce their releases very far in advance), if you aren't already aware of it you can get somewhat of an idea of future possibilities at phonearena.com.

    Here's a link to the phones for at&t - upcoming devices -

Plus, unless it is the equipment discount you are primarily interested in, you would still qualify for any service related discount from your employment even if you purchased a compatible Nokia that at&t doesn't choose to carry.

Your good, hme83! I was just about to recommend PhoneArena too. :)

In looking at Nokia's current phones for North America, none seem to be making their way to AT&T. I believe the E73 is heading for T-Mobile, but that's it, unless AT&T and Nokia announced something new soon.

Here's a link to Nokia's page on PhoneArena - Nokia phones - N. America (Phone Arena)
