Anthromatt is back on CDMA!

    I'm sure we all knew that his iDen phase wouldn't last long. :D Welcome back to CDMA Matt and enjoy your new Airave! But make sure you hold out for the LG Lotus before ditching your Rumor!

    Well, if my gf wanted to spend her own money on the airave and I get to take advantage of it, well then I am all for it. And since that is exactly what happened, I decided to come on back.

    Sound/voice quality on iden was better though. :(

    Nice to have real SMS again though.

    I remember in the old days CDMA was considered the king of voice quality. But over the years I think the codecs have changed for capacity reasons and it doesn't sound as good as it used to.

    I still think the original Sprint Samsung SCH-1000 in 1997-98 was the best voice quality I have ever had on a cell phone. Not sure if it was the phone or the old networks or maybe a combination of both.
