To make an antenna is a good alternative?
It would like to make an equal one to this here. Somebody already tested?

    Thanks!

I think it's cheaper and easier to just buy one. But if you have some spare parts and/or want to experiment, then go for it! Just remember to have the antenna length correspond to the proper lambda (wave lenght) you will use it on.

Wow I never knew people made their own antennas. Unless you feel that you would be particularly good at such a craft, you can just buy antennas that are made by companies that have researched them and made them the best they can. For under $100 you can have a high gain directional antenna and for under $50 a nice omni. I would suggest you buy one.

Depending on whether you need TNC, SMA, etc, you can find wi-fi omnis for pretty cheap. I have a pair of Linksys 7dBi omni's that I got for $40 from Amazon.

 I'm using mobile broadband , SprintPCS data; Here are some examples of the antenna I'm using to gather a good signal through very heavy forestation:

Ignore the images that deal with boats and cars. :D
The antennas shown give an 8db improvement in gain compared to a 1900Mhz 7-element Yagi. ;)

UTStarcom UM571?Can an external antenna be connected to the back? I would get a better signal if the antenna was outside of the house
