Hi, I hope someone can help me.

My girlfriend has a Razr V3 and she lives in a low signal area. When she walks around her local supermarket her annoying phone is constantly giving out loud no-signal "BEEPS" every few seconds and embarressing her! Like the shark in the film Jaws, everyone know when she is approaching cos the sound of beep beep beep :D

Does anyone know how to turn off the 'no-signal' alarm?

    Thanks

    Try menu/setting/network/service tone off

Aye the service tone is actually off by default, but on the gsm Razr's that's definetly your culprit.

I was thinking that myself. It is off by default. She must have accidentally turned it on when going through the settings once.

Leave it on...and tell her every time she hears the beep she is supposed to "____________ insert something nasty here"

Cute, but the service tone can get annoying when you live in a fringe area so yeah it's in the audio menu on the gsm phones.
