Is That a Cell Phone in Your Pocket or Are You Just Happy to See Me? Americans seem to always be on their PDA's and cell phones, hard at work wherever they are. Or are they? There may be another reason men and women are intensely typing away on their electronic devices, and it isn't business. Harlequin's Romance Report 2007 found that more than 55% of men and 47% of women in the U.S. have sent a sexually explicit email, text or instant message to someone -- proving you just may be able to mix business and pleasure. "People are looking for more romance in their lives and so it's natural that it has transcended to electronic devices and the Internet," says Marleah Stout, editor of the Romance Report. "Cell phones and PDAs are great tools in keeping the love alive. By sending an impromptu text message in between meetings, you are telling the special person in your life how much they mean to you without having to resort to grand gestures." "People want romance that is natural to them, one that eschews cliches and stereotyped expectations," says Stout. "The Romance Revolution is about feeling comfortable and confident. Romance isn't necessarily about breaking the bank on dinners or grandiose gifts; it can be picking up a movie on the way home from work, preparing a meal together, or stopping everything to share a dance to your favorite song -- all simple actions that speak volumes." Most heroes in a Hollywood love story, when faced with the choice -- love or money -- will always choose love. Is the same true in the real world? According to the Harlequin Romance Report, love really does conquer all, with 71% of U.S. adults rate finding true love as important achievement in their life over 68% saying having money to buy whatever they want. This survey was conducted online by Harris Interactive on behalf of Harlequin Enterprises among 2,256 U.S. adults 18 years of age or older. www.cellular-news.com/story/21594.php

Wirelessly posted (Walkguru's: LG-CU500 Obigo/WAP2.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 UP.Link/6.3.0.0.0) Ill have to try it. And see how it goes.
I've never sent any nasty TXT/MMS messages... I don't think that I'll do that kind of thing either. One of my friends sends and receives explicit messages all the time... she knows not to send me any of that mess
That all depends on what each person considers nasty, I have sent my share of SMS that may be considered crossing the line to some. I think it's all up to what the person recieving & sends is considered appropriate to them & everyone has to learn & respect each person's wishes when it comes to sending these types of SMS. Normally it's between a boyfriend/girlfriend, husband/wife or something similar.
It all depends how it starts and where it evolves to. I admit I did send some but it was after so many back and forth that the end result was a 2 way street in the SMS chat.
I can't believe that either! Now watch.....now instead of sex line infomercials on TV at 3am, with some lady dressed in a skimpy nightgown laying in front of the fireplace pretending to be on the phone...it's going to be "send text messages to me and tell me what you want me to do" kind of thing...and instead of her holding a house phone, they will picture the same lady there looking at a cell phone screen. :loony:
They actually do have things like that for text. But I think they're for individuals to find each other. Check the back of like a Cosmopolitan Magazine, and you'll see what I'm talking about. ~*Ash*~
