The Verizon v60p was a disappointment, but if you noticed once it was apparent that there were problems Verizon backed off from pushing this product. The new phones and updates to the network will make a difference, the v60p is actually in pretty good shape after the last software upgrade. ( I have once again started using mine.) As far as people screaming the praises of Nextel still remember there is one big flaw in Nextels service, coverage...in most areas it's just not there...and Sprints native network is very similar...As for Alltels new service the verdict is not in yet, until they roll it out across their entire network, and I'm able to use it, I'll reserve my judgement...however it is pretty cool that it works in analog. (of course that's not saying to much for Alltels plans to upgrade their Analog areas.)
