Downloaded a few ring tones from the Alltel web site and I don't know how to get them on the ring tone list. The ringtones are in the phone under the sounds icon in media but I can't figure out how to get them over to the ring tone list. The alltel reps dont know either.

Can u not go to where you change your ringer and get it there? Or go to the ring tones and mark it as a ringer?

If you go to where the songs are located at in the phone, you should be able to press the menu key and there should be an option to set as ringtone. I thing I remember that from when I had my 710.

btw, the menu key is at the top middle of the key pad w/ the horizontal lines on it.

Yeah, thats what I was doing. The other tones that came with the phone under the media icon and under sounds will allow you to "add" as a ring tone. The two I down loaded from the alltel web site will not let me. I even renamed it as a .mid file. I can try and redownload it and then save as a .mid file.
