Sorry I've been absent. I finished up my Master's presentation last Thursday & they passed me. As soon as I pay the last tuition installment, that degree is mine!!!!!!! I'm officially Nik, M.S. - Industrial Hygiene. I had a job offer from the VA - think I told you all about it. Well, Thursday I accepted a COUNTER-offer (never happens around here) to become an assistant Industrial Hygienist to one of my 3 bosses! I'll be a chemist until the end of August and after that - just a back up. Also, Thursday evening, I received a phone call from the HR department that hires for NDMS (national disaster medical service) to get an official start date for the DMAT team! Thursday was a good day. I have partied since then. :biggrin: I drove the Mustang home from GoodGuys in Des Moines yesterday - all by myself. Our friends moved home from Portugal & visited yesterday, so I got to hold their new baby for the 1st time!
