Not sure if its been discussed b4. If so, then disregard. I recently found an app ("AirDroid") that permits you to make a temporary wifi connection between your computer and your phone. (MUST be using wifi on your phone.) https://play.google.com/store/apps/...rdroid&feature=nav_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwyLDNd Here is how it works: 1. Launch the app on your phone. It will display a code. 2. On your computer, open the URL: web.airdroid.com. 3. Enter the code in the only field on the computer screen & press Enter. 4. You are now connected and can up and download files, pics, videos. You can also control you text messaging on your PC. Try it. free.
The AirDroid app is a kind of interesting stuff and it is a fast, free app that lets you wirelessly manage & control your Android devices (phone & tablet) from a web browser. It’s designed with the vision to bridge the gap between your Android device and web browser, on desktop computers or tablet devices, on Windows, Mac/iOS, or Linux. I think the AirDroid Android app is compatible with most Android devices running Android 2.1 or later. The Web Desktop should be compatible with most modern web browsers, including IE 8 or later, Chrome 12 or later, Firefox 3.6 or later, Safari 5.0 or later. Support for mobile browsers, like Safari on iPad, is experimental. The best part of the app is that there are 2 types of Passcode - Dynamic Passcode and Predefined Passcode. Predefined is usually disabled by default and Dynamic passcode is used to log in to Web Desktop.
i have not heard of it, but I will search for it on the app store. If it is there and I find it, it is good Good post
